The success of the Kendal Festival of Food, order now in its 6th year, is due to the support of our sponsors and investors. The event is organised on behalf of its investors on a ‘not for profit basis’ by 2 local businesses and is financed solely through the generosity of our supporters in addition to festival ticket and stall sales.
It is with thanks to these supporters that we can celebrate Cumbria’s outstanding food and drink industry and continue to put Cumbria on the map as a foodie destination.
Organisers, Stacy Hurley and Cath Dutton are currently seeking financial and in-kind contributions for the 2016 Festival. There are a number of different opportunities in which local businesses and organisations can get involved so please get in touch if you would like to learn more.
Why Get Involved?
Hospitality and food and drink tourism play a vital role in Cumbria’s economy and 15 million visitors to South Lakeland spend an estimated £955 million*.
Kendal Festival of Food recognises the importance of seeing our food and drink industry continue to grow and develop. It also understands the need to educate people about the importance of supporting our local producers and talented culinary businesses.
Kendal Festival of Food will help you to build relationships with our food and drink industry and the event creates excellent promotional and PR opportunities for individual businesses and Cumbria as a whole.
